My toshiba xs32 dvd has expired and has been replaced by rd97.

The 32 had an optical out to my,ageing, aiwa music surround sound system. The new dvd has a digital coaxial lead.

Is there a converter box from coax to optical, or is this a silly idea as not cost effective. All the other inputs on the music centre are in use by panasonic dvd player to provide Dolby5.1 output.

Hi Brian,try to get hold of a Digital to Analogue Convertor,theres a guy on this site his name is John Fisher,speak to him........Dave
