We recently bought this 50 inch plasma from samsung - so far so good, great picture quality, decent sound, although we have hooked up a surround sound which is awesome, and overall a nice stylish tv which is good value for money. We paid around £850 from costco. Had some trouble with burn on though - i wish these tv channels would get rid of their logos!

LG LG47LF66 Recently purchased 47" LCD TV from LG. Picture quality good, exceptional with HD broadcasts. Sound is average, so would advise using in conjunction with an external surround sound system.

we have a Pioneer PDP-4270XD. Easy to set up and generally good picture quality and sound. Remote feels cheap and poorly made but does the job. I have had some problems with picture quality on one TV channel, whether this is the TV or my aerial I don't know but good pictures from DVD suggests the fault is not with the TV.
