I have an LG HR352SC Home Cinema. Very good value - £129 for a good DVD player/ recorder with a hard drive, and a Dolby 5:1 suround sound and speakers. The only problem is, it does not have a digital audio input. I now have a sky HD box which produces HD movies with 5:1 sound, and has an optical output. My home cinema plays DVDs in 5:1, but simply has a "system out " socket at the back, and connects to the woofer/amplifier unit through what looks like a 6 pin din plug. Is there any way I can connect my Sky HD box to the amplifier to get 5:1 sound, or do I just have to get a new home cinema system?
