For ages I've been meaning to get a pair of wireless, closed-back 'phones for lounging around the house in. Finally gonna delve into my waller and treat myself. Now, the Sennheiser HDR 140's look tempting, but would like a second opinion. Anyone used these or can recommend something similar?
When you say 'waller' I hope you mean wallet and not that you're going to delve into Rick Waller and 'treat' yourself!
Seriously though the Seinheiser's are pretty good and deliver a nice punchy bass and crisp mid and treble. But do you really think you'd have much use for wireless headphones? I personally never seem to use headphones at home.
No, wouldn't wanna delve into Rick Waller at ANY cost, mainly for fear of never finding my way out!
Thought that it might be handy to have wireless 'phones as I've got a large kitchen/diner thingy and i see it as a good way of walking about & listening to my tunes without pissing my flatmates off!
Glad to hear you don't have a thing for Rick Waller, though he did do an amazing version of I Will Always Love You, which was enough to melt even the toughest of hearts.

The mp3 player idea isn't bad but then your left with the problem of less comfortable earphones...
Get the RS 130's. They are more comfortable than the RS120's and get auto tune (no hassle) and some sort of surround sound function so when you stick on a flick it sounds superb.
The rs 130s will probably set you back around £80-90 depending on where you go. They don't really seem to differ wildly in specifications other than a charge will last 22hrs rather than 23.
However I think the sound isolation is better on the 140's leading to a better all round sound quality. Maybe try both and see for yourself if the extra expense is justified.
