I am considering a bose system for my TEAC 500 series amp. I have a chance to get my hands on a Acoustimass 10 set up, but I believe this is a home cinema set up. Could I use this effectively with the TEAC, or would I be wasting my money. Or should I try the Acoustimass 5? Thanks
I've always thought that Bose was rather "bright sounding and ultimately tiring". If you've not had the Teac long I'd sort out that 1st.....try various speakers...preferably british and use a decent cable to connect.
If you're hell bent on change I think you'd be best starting on the seperates trail.
If you can be focussed on your problem I know other contributers will be keen to help.
I have booked my hifi in the local store, to try with varying speakers. I am possibly considering a good pair of floorstanders, but at this stage, I am keepin my options and ears open!
