Desperately in need of some new headphones that aren't going to break the bank.

Looking to spend no more than £30.

Thanks

If you're after portable headphones: Sony MDR Ex71's are the best you'll get for that kind of dough. Excellent sound for the price.

ta brucie

i don't want them to cannablise my listening experience though. Will they stand up to being turned up to above whisper level?

Also, whats the sound leakage like? I don't want to piss too many people off on the train into work.

They will go nice and loud el Milkio and the leakage is absolutely minimal. Their the perfect phones for the price

Liquid, if you haven't bought any headphones yet I recommend the Sennheiser PX200. Been using them on my bus journey to work and they're great. Really comfortable and the fold neatly up as well. They're about £30 I think.

I'm pretty confident this will be a bit late, but..........

The PX 200's that I'd also recommend are normally about £40, although after visiting the What Hi-Fi show where they'd run out of them on the Sennheiser stand, I went to Tottenham Court Rd. I told them that I'd seen them elsewhere for £30 and they said they'd match it.

It's always worth a haggle.
