Strengths: Crackle, hiss and searching for the best signal banished forever. When stations broadcast in high bandwidth the sound quality can be excellent. Those who enjoy classical on Radio 4 will be very impressed.
Weaknesses: DAB was sold as a higher quality version of radio with extra stations, scrolling info and no crackle or hiss. The problem is that some stations broadcast in pretty poor low quality. Whilst 6Music sounds pretty good, talksport (and others) are only broadcast in low bandwidth mono. When fed into a good quality system this can result in the poor quality broadcast being highlighted in a boomy, echo-ing sound.
Overall: Great piece of kit but beware low quality broadcasts.

Strengths: Excellent clarity with all types of music, small footprint compared to some floorstanders.
Weaknesses: Not the most stylish speaker in the world but due to its no nonsense design this means they wont age like some fancier designs.
Overall: Would recommend these speakers to anyone as they sound great with all types of music from acoustic to bass heavy dance music. Due to their narrow width they won't take over your living room so give the best of both worlds - the sonic impact of floorstanders but they only take up the same amount of room as a stand mounter.

Weaknesses: Wont offer a huge amount of bass - but look at the size, what do you expect?
Overall: I use 2 of these speakers in a pretty unusual set up. I run them using a Denon amp in the kitchen (tucked away in the a cupboard) taking a feed from my main Arcam system in my front room. They are ideal as they can be mounted up above the top of my kitchen units giving a quality 2nd room hifi without having larger standmounts that would look pretty untidy. For small speakers they offer an impressive sound, digging up plenty of detailing and doing justice to a wide variety of music. I guess that most people are going to use these as part of a home cinema system and i am sure that when used in a 5.1 system it would be a great little system
Weaknesses: Not a huge amount of bass but acceptable for the size of the cabinet.
Overall: An excellent speaker with all types of music, they can be subtle, but they can also blast out dance or rock. I use these as rears with Dynaudio Audience 122's & 122c at the front and the sound is superb.
