LG Electronics has put on sale its LH55 series of LCD HDTVs across the pond.
Endowed with 240Hz technology and targeting sports and action film advocates as well as gamers, the LH55 series features TruMotion with scanning backlight technology that, LG claims, improves picture response time for a smoother and more natural viewing experience.
Available in 37in, 42in, 47in and 55in screen sizes, other stats have been listed as including an 80,000:1 contrast ratio, invisible speakers, intelligent sensor that measures ambient light to maximise screen efficiency and a proper on/off switch (though the fact that this is listed as a feature certainly doesn't inspire us!)
Available now across the pond the 37in, 42in, 47in and 55in models are retailing at $1,400, $1,800, $2,100 and $3,900 respectively.
