Toshiba's recent announcement of its Regza
C series LCD TVs was all well and good, but what we were really waiting for were these; a fat load of eye-popping 1080p LCD displays.
All three models (X Series, Picture Frame LCD X Series, and Z Series) boast full 1920x1080p panels, a freeview tuner and SRS WOW audio tech. The X Series comes with two HDMI slots, whereas the Picture Frame LCD X Series has a welcome three HDMI slots plus a super-slim bezel frame (pictured).
Cream of the crop though is the Z Series, with three HDMI slots and Toshiba's M100 picture processing which, like Sharp's forthcoming range, doubles the image frame refresh rate from 50Hz to 100Hz.
We've been big fans of Toshiba's LCD screens in the past so we're keen to see these new 1080p numbers in action - sadly though it looks like we'll be waiting until the autumn.
