Roksan Caspian Platinum pre/power amp

As Roksan's flagship ROK pre/power is taking an age to be finalised the company decided to use some its work in a new Caspian combo called Platinum. The PR15B preamp has balanced and SE in and outputs while the ST1308 delivers 130 watts per side.

Absoluta Partenope integrated amp

Absoluta is a new Italian brand which places a great emphasis on style, as do many of its compatriots, offering its components in a number of woods and paint finishes. The Partenope integrated amp is a hybrid design using FETs and tubes in a dual mono design to deliver 100 watts a side.

Creek turntable

Electronics specialist Creek surprised us with its first turntable, with the working name Wyndsor it has an acrylic plinth, separate power supply and uses opposing magnets to take the weight of the platter off the bearing. Creek has also resurrected its OB11, a more affordable headphone amp for £120.

Revolver Replay turntable

Revolver started out as a turntable company back in the eighties and has now returned to the theme with the Replay, this has a marble plinth and features a Japanese tonearm. No decisions have been made regarding suspension but a finished unit is expected in the autumn.

dCS Scarlatti CD player

UK digital specialist dCS unveiled the Scarlatti, a three-box player comprising CD/SACD transport, digital to analogue converter, and Master Clock. The DAC features the latest evolution of the dCS Ring DAC, a new generation digital processing engine and an all-new chassis while the transport combines dCS signal processing technology with mechanics from Esoteric Audio's VRDS NEO drive unit.

Wilson Benesch Trinity loudspeaker

Trinity fits between the Arc and Discovery in Wb's range and incorporates Murata's ultrasonic generator or supertweeter to give the speaker treble extension up to 100kHz. The Tactic mid/bass unit has a revised magnet structure and all three drivers are clamped from behind for maximum rigidity.

Adam OSS mentalist loudspeaker

One of the most substantial speakers on show was Adam's Olympus Sound System or OSS, this active design has separate enclosures for ribbon supertweeter, tweeters and midrange units then another for lower mid and a huge one for a pair of monstrous 18in bass drivers. Each speaker is driven by 3,500 watts. That should do it.

Dynaudio MC15 iPod dock

In an attempt to seduce the iPod user who demands the best, Dynaudio announced the MC15 active speaker system which consists of two-way speakers with built-in 50-watt amplification. This is essentially a revised version of a pro design with different dispersion characteristics.
