EVOKE-1XT. Dubbed the EVOKE-1S, the new model benefits from ChargePAK support, giving you up to 24 hours of mains-less portable listening between charges.
Other improvements include a line-in for your iPod or other audio device, textSCAN and Intellitext for controlling and pausing scrolling text, more station presets (30 DAB or FM) and a graphical OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) for better readability. Another neat touch is a light sensor which automatically adjusts display brightness to suit the room. And if you want to hear your EVOKE-1S in glorious stereo, there's an optional S-1 standalone speaker.
It's easier on the environment too, and like the recently released Siesta, the EVOKE-1S features a Bono-load of planet saving features including a standby power consumption of less than 1W and 70% recycled packaging.
