Monitor Audio PL100 Price: £2,300 Getting close to winning the award for the most expensive small box loudspeakers around, the Monitor Audio PL100 from the Platinum Range cost a heady £2,300, but sound like they have more bass definition than most floorstanders.

Naim Superline phono stage Price £TBC Naim Audio is still firmly behind vinyl. Its newest product - alongside a new £395 mains lead - is the Superline phono stage. Capable of being powered by any of Naim's traditional power supplies or amps, the new phono stage is claimed to be accurate to within 0.1dB of the traditional RIAA equalisation curve and it has up to 20 cartridge loading options. Price is to be confirmed, but don't expect 'cheap' - the company just hooked up with Bentley to make in-car hi-fi.

Nordost cables Price: £Lots If Naim's new £395 Power-Line mains lead is not frisky enough for you, Nordost's display featured its range of high-end interconnects and speaker cables. All named after Norse gods, all priced so that only Pluto, ancient Greek god of wealth can afford them.

Onkyo LS-V501 home theatre system Price: £600 Onkyo's LS-V501 is a complete 2.1 channel DVD home theatre system, sporting HDMI input and output, 50 watts per channel to the main speakers and 100 watts to the subwoofer, it plays all the usual DVD-like suspects in straight stereo and 'Theater Dimensional Virtual Surround' and has an optional DS-A1x iPod dock.

Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX508D LCD TV Price: £3,400 Pioneer's Kuro concept is still winning people over to the dark side. Among the products on display were several Full HD 1080p plasma screens (including the PDP-LX508D shown here), and the first sample of the new 'Susano' SC-LX90 integrated amplifier flagship, which is likely to retail at around £5,000.
