SunView PMP Projector

A piece of technology we've been talking about and covering in concept stage for well over a year now, the world's first Pico projector has finally gone on sale, albeit in Hong Kong.

The SunView PMP projector (more easily known as the PMPP) was developed by Sunlink International and iVew Limited. An integrated PMP, it runs Windows CE 5.0 and throws out a 640x480 pixel projected image from its diminutive projector unit, or it can show the footage on its embedded 3.5-inch LCD display.

Elsewhere the SunView features an SD slot for expandable media, speaker, remote control and rechargeable battery, all squeezed into a standard portable media player sized casing (133x79x25mm).

Availability and hence price for the UK market is yet to be confirmed, especially as they are on a limited production run (expected to be increased) in Hong Kong, but we'll keep you posted as we hear the news.
