It was inevitable that it would happen in some guise or another, but finally Sony's PlayStation Portable gaming gadget has been endowed with a download service so users can watch TV on the go wherever they are.
Go!View as it's been called is a collaboration between technology titans Sony and Sky that transforms the PSP into a personalised TV service where owners can watch what they want when they want.
Working on a subscription or pay-as-you-go platform, once users are registered on the Go!View website content is instantly accessible for download via PC.
The service is due to launch this summer, but as yet there is no word on actual content or pricing, but we have been promised an array of 'entertainment, comedy, sport and movies for what is the first official PSP download service in Europe'.
