Building on the award winning Aegis EVO series, Acoustic Energy has launched the NEO models, designed to be even cleaner, faster and sweeter sounding than their predecessors.
AE has opted for Neodymium drivers (rather than traditional Ferrite magnet drivers) throughout the range to improve sound. In fact, AE reckons the NEO series' low frequency driver offers over an octave more bandwidth than the old Aegis EVO driver. The tweeter is all-new as well, with a frequency response out to 45kHz.
The four strong range comprises the Aegis NEO One standmount speaker (£200 per pair), the 170W floor-standing Aegis NEO Three (£370 per pair), the Aegis NEO Centre (£150) and the 200W Aegis NEO Sub (£350). If you want to buy the whole package in one it'll set you back £1,000 (a saving of £70).
The AE Aegis NEO series is available now in light oak, walnut vinyl veneer or traditional black ash.
