Back in the day when stuff like
It Ain't Half Hot Mum was considered acceptable entertainment, wooden coated TVs were all the rage. And while these days most of us have sleek silver/black flat screens, manufacturer HANNSpree remains defiant, releasing the unashamedly retro HANNSvaas LCD television.
At only 15 inches in size this TV is a little on the small side, but then again it's not designed to be the centre piece of a large room, more an attractive side piece. Apparently the design is based on the shape of a Cello, and it's easy to see how - the curved look and the Chrome stand are reminiscent of said musical instrument.
The set is finished in a Black and Walnut grain, with grey and chrome trims. The HANNSpree HANNSvaas LCD TV is out now, priced around $400 (just over £200).
