The award-winning Tangent Quattro internet radio now has a free firmware update available online that adds to the features list for any existing owners.
Free to do and requiring only a couple of minutes, new features available include alphabetical search for stations, visible display of the Wi-Fi reception strength and the ability to add to 'My Stations' directly on the radio, for which the radio needs to be registered at www.reciva.com.
Current users need simply select 'Configure' from the radio menu and then 'Upgrade Firmware' and the radio takes care of the rest. Hardly rocket science then.
The Tangent Quattro is available now from £180 in a funky Danish retro design and choice of colour schemes. It offers access to over 7,000 internet radio stations, streams music from PC and Mac, plays BBC Radio On Demand and gives access to internet Podcasts.
