Landing this side of the pond from US speaker specialist MartinLogan, the Dynamo active subwoofer reckons it has come close to achieving the holy grail of the AV world - high-end performance at a budget price point.
Retailing for a shade under £500, the Dynamo certainly packs in plenty of performance credentials considering its price bracket. It sports an onboard 200-watt amp and 10in aluminium-coned driver designed to provide ultra rich detail married to consummate depth, pace and authority.
Compact and cubist, the Dynamo shouldn't impact negatively on any home interior aesthetics, while features like adjustable front or down-firing configurations keep it versatile. And while we've not yet had a chance to hear it in action, the promised performance levels should be well worth waiting for.
