Audio Pro Mondial loudspeaker

Audio Pro Mondial loudspeaker

Hot off the release of the Porto portable and leather-clad iPod speaker we reported on yesterday, it seems the good folk at Audio Pro have developed something of a leather fetish.

Maybe it's something in the Swedish air, but in answer to customer demand for more innovative designs, Audio Pro has bedecked its superb Mondial speaker range in beautifully stitched brown or black hide finishes in keeping with modern interior design's demand for more organic and less synthetic aesthetics.

It's not just about the looks though, as anyone who has heard an Audio Pro product in action will testify. Utilising high performance drivers and the latest supertweeters, the Mondial series comprises five speaker pairs ranging from the ultra-compact M1 to the slim floorstanding M5, with the M4 centre and two active AceBass subs as multichannel options. All of which are leather clad.

Available from September, guide prices are as follows, M1 pair £149, M2 pair £199, M3 pair £249, M4 £139 each, M5 pair £399, S1 £249 each, S3 £319 each. A suggested 5.1-channel set-up would comprise M5, M4, M1 and S3, totalling £999.

Swedish cows beware.
