Bose has launched the MusicMonitor in the UK, a dual aluminium computer speaker system that debuts Bose's patented technology claiming to deliver best ever audio quality from such diminutive powered speakers.
Targeted specifically at desktop computer and laptop users, Bose has stuffed new technology such as dual internal opposing passive radiators in each speaker for deep note delivery.
Using two passive radiator speakers facing each other in each speaker as opposed to one means the primary vibrations from one are cancelled out by the other and vice versa, thus maintaining the integrity of the sound.
Elsewhere the MusicMonitor sports neodymium transducers, proprietary digital signal processing, patented switching amplifiers, active electronic equalisation and remote or speaker mounted control options.
Users can play downloaded music, internet radio and the like with no additional software upgrades or soundcards needed.
Available sometime in October, the MusicMonitor retails for £280.
