Roberts Radio has launched the MP-SOUND 41; a DAB radio with the kind of PVR functionality we are now used to seeing on hard drive enabled set-top boxes like Sky+.
Also incorporated is a seven-day EPG so users can record up to eight hours direct to SD card, which also enables playback of MP3/WMA files downloaded from a remote server via the radio.
In typical PVR fashion, owners can pause, rewind, fast-forward, record and play back programmes and tracks from the SD card, with the ability to record a huge 12 programmes at the same time.
Other features include PausePlus with live radio, 12 alarms (radio, buzzer, fave track etc), 12 record timers, 12 station presets and RDS.
The SOUND 41 is available in silver for £140. Maybe it should have been called the SOUND 12?
