Sony BRAVIA W4000-Series

Sony has launched yet another addition to its BRAVIA LCD TV range with the W4000-Series, effectively a range of slightly larger models to complement the E4000-Series launched last week.

Arriving here in 32in, 40in, 46in and 52in guises, all models are Full HD 1080p 24p and sport the BRAVIA ENGINE 2 image processor, 10-bit video processing and BRAVIA sync one control technology.

The big push is the Picture Frame Mode technology that converts the TV when off from monolithic eyesore to photo display, reducing brightness and showing images in HD quality.

The USB port means you can show your own images or use one of the six pre-installed pics with everything from Van Gogh to Pop Art on offer. Essentially then, this range simply delivers larger sizes to the E4000-Series with much the same tech.

No news on release dates or pricing yet.
