Hitachi has announced that its UT32MH70 LCD TV is to go on sale at first exclusively in Comet in the UK, from May.
We do know the 32in model is HD compliant, although in-depth statistics and feature info is remarkably thin on the ground at the moment.
Physical stats are more readily available though. The TV measures just 35mm thin without the bezel attached and has been dubbed 'Europe's thinnest TV' at around one-third the depth of a conventional flatscreen - although who decided what was 'conventional' is unclear.
As well as skinny, at 10.9 kilos the set is also remarkably light making it a great wall mounting option. You'd best be sure though, because retail price has been set at an eye-watering £1,300.
