ISOL-8 VMC1080 Video Mains Conditioner

By Duncan Madden

ISOL-8 VMC1080 Video Mains Conditioner

Lesser-known Brit company ISOL-8 has launched the VMC1080, a video mains conditioner that promises to improve picture quality from your plasma, LCD TV and cinema projector.

Designed to provide a clean, stable and noise-free mains supply to any video display, it cleans the signal and safeguards your kit from potentially damaging voltage spikes.

Built specifically for video performance, it filters frequencies that affect both SD and HD signals to reduce the 'video noise' created by power supplies while also preventing display power noise from creeping into other components of your home AV set-up.

ISOL-8 promises reduced motion artefacts, improved contrast, more vivid colours and better image depth for an all round sharper, more focused and less grainy picture.

The minimal design allows for an 'invisible install' and can attach to the back of your display or to the wall, out of sight. It comes bundled with display bracket and IEC output lead and is on sale this month for £190.
