LG 3D LCD TV

Korean behemoth LG has announced it is to go into mass production of a Full HD 3D LCD television next year, reports the DigiTimes.

The 65in panel will be supplied by AU Optronics in the second half of 2010, the same company that manufactures for Apple, Samsung and BenQ to name but a few.

The news times nicely with Sky's decision to start broadcasting in 3D next year too, indicating strong industry support for the next-gen technology.
