Luxpro: don't innovate, imitate!

Following the success (?) of the Luxpro Tangent, a quite magnificent Shuffle looky-likey (albeit in reverse black livery) that was brought to our attention on our forums, the company has designed the Pico, which bears more than a passing resemblance to Apple's nano. Black in colour with a 1.5in OLED screen and similar 'impossibly small' aesthetics as the nano (38x85x7mm), the Pico also adds FM radio and line-in recording.

Available in 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB the Pico offers plenty of choice, and plays MP3 and WMA files. However, it's almost guaranteed that these will never see the light of day on these shores. So if, for some reason, you're thinking you'll buy one these from Dixons we'd suggest you have two hopes: Bob Hope and no hope.

It amazes us how quickly these kind of products are able to come out, but we find it even more amazing that the companies that make them find no problem popping in a radio and line-in recording yet Apple still appears to find this a problem. We haven't heard of a price for this yet, but if you do, drop us a line below.

For the full specs see the Luxpro website.
