Jamo DMR61 Upscaling DVD player

Jamo DMR61

Jamo has updated one of its DVD receivers to take advantage of HDMI and added some additional functionality to boot.

The DMR 61 (Digital Media Receiver) is more than your standard DVD Receiver and contains a 4 in 1 card reader and USB port (V1.1) on the front. So, should you tire of watching upscaled DVDs, you can play music, view pictures and watch DIVX videos from your memory cards instead.

Visual buffs will appreciate the new HDMI port which should get the most from your DVDs, upscaling them to 720p or 1080i. Audiowise there's a digital amplifier inbuilt, so with the entire signal processing being handled digitally Jamo claim the audio quality should be of the highest fidelity.

Available now for £400.
