Ultra Bright Epson 3LCD projectors

Epson EMP-1815

Epson has a couple of new projectors available geared towards business users. The EMP-1810 and the 1815 are both 3LCD projectors with XGA resolution up to 1024x768 pixels, promising sharp imagery and, the pièce de résistance, 3500 ANSI Lumens allowing the projection of an image so bright that a conference hall full of people can see it clearly, even with the curtains open and lights on (we're mildly dubious though).

The screen is adjustable to 60in with the projector only 1.8m away, and it fires up in an impressive 6 seconds. The EMP 1815 model also has wireless LAN connectivity for a wire free presentation and can read data off CompactFlash cards and USB drives without a PC.

The EMP 1810 should retail for £1800 and the EMP 1815 for £1950, both available in April.
