Ever wondered what the engineers who design Denon's £5,000 CD players get up to in their lunch break? Well apparently they've been boffing over some seriously slick ear buds; the AH-C700s.
Not bothering with fancy accessories, Denon's debut set of in-ears are all about sound quality - the aluminium design chosen as it's said to resonate less than plastic (as well as looking a darn site cooler).
They're also designed to block out annoying ambient noise, while advanced 11mm diaphragm drive units and audiophile cables means what you do hear will be just pure, unadulterated musical brilliance (unless of course you're listening to James Blunt).
A choice of three soft silicon ear pieces promise to fit even the most Bill Beaumont-shaped lugholes, while you've the option of a black or silver finish.
The AH-C700 earbuds are due out May for £139.
