As the High-Definition revolution starts to settle into the mainstream and more manufacturers push the benefits of their 'full HD' 1080p products, the importance of good quality cabling becomes paramount. After all, why spend thousands on top-notch HD kit and then pipe your video and audio through a £10 value cable?

Supra's new HF100 cables are built to the very latest HDMI 1.3a specification, and are, according to the blurb 'guaranteed to work and deliver stunning AV quality at all lengths'.

This specification means that the Supra cables can carry Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Deep Color and x.v.Color, Auto Lipsync and CEC - all of the premium full HD features - from any source to component, be it SkyHD, HD-DVD or Blu-ray to flat TV or projector. In comparison to the ten-grand-per-metre Nordost cabling we featured yesterday, the £60 for one metre price point looks pretty reasonable to us, and the more you buy the better value it gets.
