ATEC AV371DF, AV421DF, AV470DS LCD TVs

ATEC AV371DF, AV421DF, AV470DS
Manufacturers are going 1080p crazy at the mo, with 'Full HD' the new buzz phrase that they believe is driving sales. Which is why it's no surprise to see company's like ATEC getting in on the action, no surprise that is until you see the price.

With the smallest in the LCD range 37-inch AV371DF kicking off proceedings at a wallet-massaging £800 for full 1080p High-Definition, 42 and 47-inch models follow for £910 and £1,300 respectively. Despite the budget pricing, all boast LG-Philips' Super IPS panels for a ridiculous 178-degree viewing angle, built-in digital tuner, 1920x1080 resolution and optional wall mount.

The current benefits of 1080p over 1080i for everyday TV seldom justify the increased cost of the Full HD set, but the ATEC range looks to eliminate that. The 47-inch AV470DS is available now with the 32 and 37-inchers due July.
