Born and bred in bonny Scotland, Atlas Cables has just announced a 'new' product, which is actually an upgraded of the already popular and award-winning Equator interconnect cable using higher purity copper conductors and exclusive-to-Atlas high-performance RCA connectors.
The 75-ohm Equator cable is double shielded with a pure OFC copper multi-stranded screen providing 100 per cent coverage for the avoidance of RFI. It is terminated at each end by a newly designed RCA plug with a beryllium insert to ensure a super tight fit and no chance of coming loose as with most mediocre connectors.
Due extremely soon, the Equator will retail for £45 for one metre and only highlights the importance of decent cabling to wring the very best from your prized home cinema setup.
