AV cabling specialist IsoTek has upgraded its four-strong range of mains cables in an effort to squeeze more performance from them.
Apart from a funky new blue look, the main work has gone into the plugs, which have apparently been subjected to deep cryogenic treatment. This translates into 'improved detail and definition, with crisp highs and solid, punchy bass' while picture quality is also visibly enhanced.
The four models in the range in ascending quality - and thus price - are Premium, Elite, Optimum and Supreme. Premium and Elite are designed for front-end components like CD and DVD players while the Optimum and Supreme are tailored to higher demand kit like AV power amps, subwoofers and video projectors.
Prices for a 1.5m terminated cable range from £60 for the Premium to £90 for the Elite, £150 for the Optimum and £195 for the Supreme. All are available now.
