Thiel's new ViewPoint loudspeakers have been designed specifically to integrate seamlessly with wall-mounted flat panel televisions and video displays.
A two-way 'Coherent Source' loudspeaker, the ViewPoint is custom built to match the size and colour of your particular flat panel display offering top end performance with a subtle integrated look for minimal visual impact.
Compared to the more traditional and very directional in-wall or wall-mounted loudspeakers, the ViewPoint's combination of both a coaxial/coplanar driver mounting and a 90-degree radiation pattern ensures that the sound covers far more of the room area.
Patent-pending technology means the woofer is mounted very close to and angled towards the wall surface, cutting down on wall reflection. Using just two loudspeakers either side of the screen apparently emphasises the widescreen sensation when watching a film too. Cool, though we'll believe that when we see it in action.
