Sanyo has unveiled an all-new Full HD 1080p home cinema projector in the shape of the PLV-Z2000, boasting a swathe of top-end new features.
The big one comes in the shape of the new 3D Colour Management, which claims to deliver super rich colour depth by increasing colour management ability by 1,100 times in comparison to traditional models, notably the Sanyo PLV-Z5, (approximately 2,160 hundreds of thousands of combinations) and displays full HD pics with rich colour reproduction.
Elsewhere, the PLV-Z2000 sports a built-in lens shifting function allowing for wide-range shifting up or down to three screen sizes and left or right to two screen sizes. There's also a 2x zoom for large projection irrespective of room size.
Another boon lies in the newly developed large aperture, low noise Sirocco fan that runs at a whispering 19 decibels while remaining an effective coolant for the Sanyo's hard-working innards. It is, according to Sanyo, the industry's quietest fan system.
Contrast ratio sits at 15,000:1 thanks to the C2FINETM D7 new generation inorganic LCD panel and variable iris, and Full HD 1920x1080 Hi-Def imaging is supported by dual HDMI 1.3a connections.
On sale this November, the price is yet to be confirmed.
