InFocus has cut the price of its infamous IN81 1080p projector by £500 to a shade under £2,000 as it signals the release of a new updated model.
The IN81 sports a Texas Instruments DLP DarkChip2 chipset with BrilliantColor, Pixelworks, DNX 10-bit video processing technology, D65k colour accuracy, contrast ratio that goes from 3,000:1 native to 10,000:1 iris enabled.
There's also a video optimised brightness of 1400 max ANSI lumens brightness on screens up to 3m wide.
It also features dual HDMI 1.3 inputs with DeepColor support.
Automatic colour gamut and black level calibration, digital vertical lens shift and ISF Day and Night presets are also listed among the primary features.
The IN81 now retails at £2,000 down from £2,500 and we'll have more about the new IN83 model directly.
