Denon has previewed its latest audio gadget - the DN-HS5500, a direct drive scratch turntable with incorporated digital media player and controller.
Eliminating the need for CDs, the Denon DJ combines a direct-drive scratching platter with modular hard drives and extensive interfaces and effects.
Features include external USB and iPod support so you can download music from all forms of digital files on the hard drive, MIDI interface controller and, as Denon puts it, 'about 5,000 more features'.
Due March, but no price or further info has been released.
