Though it bears the same name as Fatman's speaker dock, the iTube from Aquallusion is an entirely different beast.

This 30-inch-tall iPod speaker system sports 360-degree speakers for room-filling sound, and in an unashamed nod to the retro-tastic lava lamps of old creates special lighting effects that react to the tunes being played.

Compatible with other MP3 players via an aux input, users can control the level of light and bubble psychedelia via the bundled remote control. There's even an aromatherapy setting for total sensory overload.

Available in the States from Aquallusion direct, the iTube will set you back $249.
