At this rate we'll be enjoying the London Olympics before we get to see one of Microsoft's Zune portable media players this side of the pond after yet another delay from the Gates camp.
Reports from France are saying that the European Zune launch has now been delayed until 2009 and the third generation of the US-centric device.
Americans and Canadians currently get to take full advantage of the second gen Zune range that includes a flash-based model.
Reasons for the delay are about as clear as mud and Microsoft isn't helping clear up the confusion, as it refuses to comment on what it calls 'rumour and speculation' concerning the delayed release. Tssk.
Check the website for more info, or more proactively, check a rival manufacturer's site for players you can actually buy in the UK.
