Opus Technologies has introduced a full customisable touchscreen keypad designed to seamlessly control the Opus 500 system and a swathe of smart home kit including your AV set-up with the WCU600.
Alongside remote control, it can display video from DVD, TV or CCTV systems as well as the menus of AV servers, iPod docks and the like.
The 3.5in display is fully customisable via USB for individual use and is high-resolution 24-bit back-lit with 16million colours (320x240 resolution).
An upgrade to the current WCU500 keypad, it is fully backwards compatible with existing Opus 500 systems and sports built-in local RS232 connector for control of third party products.
Designed to be wall mounted, it arrives with built-in back-box and fixings for cavity and solid walls and a range of faceplates to suit your décor.
Available this summer, the WCU600 has a SRP of Ł490.
