Rotel has launched the RA-03 integrated amp, which builds on the award-winning design of the RA-02 integrated amplifier and RB-03 power amplifier.
The circuit is designed symmetrically to ensure accurate stereo separation and is driven by a power supply built around a toroidal transformer and high quality (DNM Design) slit foil storage capacitors.
The RA-03's line stage is based on the RA-02 and uses short, symmetrical signal paths for maximum resolution, and includes a high quality mm phono input. It also features new Burr Brown op-amps that offer greater transparency and resolution of fine detail.
The power amplifier is rated at 2x 70 watts (8 ohms), and will drive low-impedance, difficult speaker loads with ease.
The RA-03 is available in black or silver at a retail price of £499.
