Earth Trek has taken the fight to Texas Instruments and its Pico projector project with the 90-805R, officially the world's smallest non-embedded projector.
Measuring a miniscule 105x58x25mm and weighing in at just 160grams, it can't be accused of forming part of the obesity epidemic, yet it manages to throw out a 22in image - amazing considering the dimensions.
Don't get too excited though, as we're not expecting picture quality to be anywhere near pin sharp.
AV inputs are in place for teaming it up with a laptop or smartphone, and there's an SD/Trans Flash card slot for access to mass storage devices and direct content playback. Format support is limited to MP4.
Battery life is a claimed two hours, which considering the dimensions and strain upon it power wise, we'd say was better than expected.
Earth Trek is based in Hong Kong and has listed the projector as officially released, but we haven't been able to get any pricing or availability info as yet -we'll let you know the moment we do!
