Garnering praise and accolades by the bucketload around the globe, Cowon's iAudio D2 is arriving in the UK courtesy of AdvancedMP3players.com.
Arriving in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB flavours, the D2 boasts the highest sound output of any portable player on the market with a 16ohm max output.
Features-wise, things are equally as promising with support for 'all major audio formats' including MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, FLAC and WAV. Video is equally taken care of by MPEG-4, DivX and XviD, and apparently looks resplendent on the 2.5in 16.4million colour QVGA touchscreen supporting Virtual Touch and Virtual Scroll for navigation.
Further appeal comes with the digital audio recording via the mic and/or line-in jack, FM radio with recorder and timed record, alarm clock, TV out function and SD/SDHC memory card slot capable of bumping the storage up to a much more appealing 32GB.
Small, light and extremely capable, the D2 offers up plenty of time to get to grips with all its features too, with a single battery charge lasting a claimed 54 hours for tunes and ten hours for video, which, frankly, is massive.
Available online now, the 4GB model costs £99, the 8GB £129 and the 16GB flagship effort £159.
