Acer has launched the P5260i, a professional 'video projector' that takes the cable free route of wirelessness.
Compatible with the popular 802.11b/g protocols, it supports up to 1080i HD video projection in a variety of encryptions including MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV9, AVI, DivX, XviD, ASF and VOB.
The DLP projector's resolution stretches to 1,024x768 with 2,700 Lumens brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio with D-Sub, DVI and HDMI ports.
Targeting the business market every bit as much as the growing home sector, plus points are highlighted as low fan noise, good lamp life and great colour reproduction, plus a swathe of business orientated features. And the 'InstantPack' technology means the power cord can be unplugged directly after switching the projector off without any side effects in case a quick post-presentation getaway is needed.
