True Colours Industries (TCI) has devised a cleaner way to wire up your home cinema kit with the announcement of the TigerSix, a six-way twisted-pair analogue interconnect.
As almost every DVD player with DVD-A or SACD facilities needs six analogue phono interconnects to take the signal to the amplifier, it can be a real mess to wire. The TigerSix promises easy installation and a saving in cost, combined with serious audiophile performance.
The cable is based on TCI's successful Tiger stereo interconnect and uses silver plated copper conductors, which are PTFE insulated in a twisted pair configuration, then sleeved in halogen-free 'Megalon' insulation and finally wrapped with tough, but flexible Nylon 66 braid. The complete cable in made of flame-retardant materials making the TigerSix ideal for permanent installation.
The TigerSix will set you back £80 for one metre, and £100 for one and a half metres. For more information on TCI, visit: www.true-colours.com
