Sanyo is clearly not a believer in the finer qualities of the Great British Summer, as it has unveiled a new weatherproof TV range.
Comprising two models, the first and best is the 52in Full HD 1080p model, backed up by an already available 42in sibling that sadly only stretches to 720p playback.
Both sets are promised to be dust and waterproof and capable of working in temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees and as high as 45 degrees Celsius. So if you fancy some outdoors viewing in the Arctic or Jordan, you now know where to come.
And with screens strong enough to withstand a beer bottle or pint glass, over the top parties should go without a bang.
The HD stats ensure HDMI hook-up is a given, though there's SCART too for any non-believers.
The 42in version retails at £2,000 with the 52in flagship doubling up at £4,000 when it goes on sale in July. Just in time for the summer.
