Crystal Audio And Acoustics TR-100 & TR-60

Fresh from the Crystal Audio stable is a new pair of wireless systems, the TR-100 and TR-60, that turn any music source into a hi-fi system 'with the minimum of fuss and free from the clutter of speaker wire'.

Using several new, patented technologies the system comprises a transmitter that connects to your music source, be it CD player, turntable, PC and the like, and fires the audio signal around the home to a 75ft range.

On the receiving end is a 'compact and elegant' receiver that picks up the signal and powers the speakers at the same time.

First up is the £399 TR-100 which sports a wireless transmitter and bespoke receiver for each speaker, which you supply. Inside each sits 100W of power equating to the speakers being driven by an ultra compact 200W stereo amp.

Second is the £249 TR-60, which powers both speakers from one receiver using its built-in stereo amp.

The only on-wall wireless amplification system currently available, it delivers three key technologies - uncompressed wireless transmission of the audio signal; interference-free replay; and a delay latency of less than 2ms that's inaudible to the human ear.
