Samsung is to unveil and show off its latest gogglebox range, the Crystal Design series at this August's IFA technology show in Germany.
Alongside the funky new looks, Samsung is promising 'exciting new connectivity features' for the 750 and 950 series that will set them apart from previous models. We're guessing some kind of vacuum cleaner hose attachment, but don't quote us on that.
The Crystal Design LCD and plasma TVs will be the first in Europe able to hook up to a home network for exchange of media files, first to feature built-in content and are able to receive RSS feeds directly from the internet.
Available in platinum black, the 950 series combines this new multimedia functionality with USB HD playback and Sammy's LED technology.
The 780 series will look the same and benefit from the LED knowhow but will miss out on the connectivity options.
All are due to arrive in Europe some time in September for as yet undisclosed prices.
