Samsung has unveiled ahead of this year's IFA technology show its latest range of displays with the Series 9 LED LCD HDTVs, successor to the 81 Series.
The range represents Samsung's second-gen LCD panels to employ LED SmartLighting technology, which when combined with the 120Hz refresh rate conspires to deliver a chunky 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
The Series 9 arrives in 46in and 55in guises, with features including Samsung's InfoLink RSS service, which Stateside delivers a hook-up to USA Today content. There's also WiseLink pro for playback of MP3, JPEG and video files stored on memory drives and PCs and the like thanks to some nifty DLNA technology.
Styling has also had a spruce up, with Samsung's new 'art inspired Touch of Color' design including charcoal grey bezel.
Connectivity includes a quartet of HDMI inputs and USB 2.0 port.
On sale across the Pond in August, it arrives in Blighty in September but we'll bring you more from IFA before then.
