Roberts Ecologic DAB Radios

Brit iPod inventor

Roberts has developed a new range of DAB radios that sport built-in battery chargers to prolong battery life and climb another rung on Mother Nature's eco ladder.

The ecologic 1's battery charger works when it's attached to the mains. The radio part offers ten station presets, clock and headphone sockets and retails at £50.

The ecologic 2 sports the same internal recharger and radio features as the 1, but is the slimmest model on the market. A svelteness that bumps the price up to £60.

The ecologic 3 delivers a lengthy 120-hour battery life in comparison to the average DAB lifespan of 25 hours. Features otherwise are the same as the 1 and 2 models, though the 3 will set you back £70.

The final model is not part of the ecologic range, but an upgrade to the existing Gemini radio, with the Gemini21 now delivering 150 hours of battery life from a single charge.

The radio offers 20 presets, DAB and FM wavebands, stereo speakers, LCD display line out socket for connecting portable music devices. It retails at £80.

The ecologic range is available now in black or white and the Gemini21 in sliver with amber backlight of black with blue backlight.
